Following the signing of memorandum of collaboration between CUT and SBA, we have been asked to map with UAV the area next to the Mall and the new Limassol hourbor for enviromental monitoring.
The flights were done early morning 3.4.2014 and the data were delivered on 5.4.2014. The delay was caused because of other flight obligations on 4.4.2014. Three flights were done in total. One @ 260m covering all the area (1.6 sq km) with near infrared photos and two more @ 130m covering the area with RGB photos. Pre-signalised control points were measured with RTK GPS to georeference the final products, RGB ortho, NIF ortho and DEM.
